Hey Everyone!

My name is Ashley! For this winter term, I will be weekly blogging about all sorts of cools things about going to school at the University of Waterloo. Before we get to all that stuff, I’m going to give you a quick summary of how I am. Like I said, my name is Ashley and I’m a first year mechanical engineering student. I lived in rez my first semester and it was cool (sometimes), because I got to meet many cool people. I love to play sports, especially basketball, and I love to draw. I love to laugh and have a fun time, like all engineering students I play hard and work hard, because if you don’t, you’ll drown in the ocean of work and stress. Stay tuned for all the tid-bits, do’s and don’ts, and need to know’-s!

My name is Joseph Santoyo, I am 18 years old and I go to Carleton University. I love reading to the point where I feel overwhelmed with the amount of books out there that I won’t be able to read, that must be OCD or something.

Throughout my High School years I had trouble figuring out what it was I wanted to do, I thought I would become an economist and stock investor as great as Warren Buffett, and who knows, maybe I will someday. Right now my focus is on becoming a great programmer, to one day start a startup.

I am always looking for ways to improve myself, ways to motivate and inspire myself to do great things in the world. In High School, I felt very lost, there was never really a resource where I could go to, to get inspired, to feel motivated. That is the goal of this site, to bring information from around the web, and our personal experiences, to help YOU high school students, find yourself in this world and to give you that motivation to do something great! The more we help you get motivated and to feel inspired, the more it will help ourselves do the same.
